The second year of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is going strong. Following Kim Jae Hoon in January and Nightmare Geese in February, March marks the arrival of Blue Mary in SNK’s fighting game.
A Legendary Detective Returns
An iconic fighter since Fatal Fury 3: Road to the Final Victory, Mary Ryan (her real name) has been a staple in most Fatal Fury titles, as well as numerous The King of Fighters rosters since 1997.
A detective by trade, Blue Mary had planned to take a well-deserved break after solving her latest case, but the return of Geese has forced her to change those plans. Hopping back on her motorcycle, she's ready to deliver more bone-breaking strikes with her Sambo-inspired techniques.
Terry is going to be happy.
While she still sported her traditional outfit in The King of Fighters XIV and XV, this next-generation Fatal Fury is the perfect opportunity for a fresh look. Like all other characters, Blue Mary will feature her own "Episodes of South Town" story mode, complete with RPG-inspired progression.
As for her new stage, it is directly inspired by Pioneer Plaza, the location where Blue Mary made her debut in Fatal Fury 3. Included in the season pass, the character will be available on March 26.
Next stop: April, featuring the grand return of Wolfgang Krauser.
